Be Encouraged by Faith
Today’s Faith Note Comes from 1 Thessalonians 3:7: “Therefore,
brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you
because of your faith.”
This verse is important as to how people relate to us. When I say us I mean Christian’s, followers
of Christ, Disciples etc. When people look
at Christians they ought to see something that makes us stand out amongst the
world. What better way to stand out then
to exhibit your Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we have Faith in the Lord in all of our situations then
people look at you strange. When things don’t seem to bother you as much and
you remain calm within the time of trouble people notice. It isn’t that you aren’t bothered by the
storm it’s just that you know that your Faith in God is your focus. When we continue to rely on God’s Power and
not our own feelings then we can stay in control of our emotions.
I challenge you today to be of an encouragement to others
when they are in distress and need an example of how to react.
