Author and Finisher of Our Faith (God the Son)
Jesus was called Author and Finisher of Our Faith
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy
that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down
at the right hand of the throne of God. (KJV)
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect,
he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (KJV)
An author is one which creates. And Jesus created and finished our Faith,
so that all who believe and obey him may be full of Faith and have eternal
life. He came from heaven to save
us. Coming, so that we may have Faith in
him and in the God who sent him to save us from a sinful humanity. When Jesus was crucified on the cross he said
“It is finish”
His crucifixion, death and resurrection are all that we need to have Faith. If you ever question your Faith remember who is
the Author and Finisher of your Faith: Christ Jesus.
