NOW FAITH
Today's message comes from Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This has always been one of my favorite verses to explain exactly what Faith is. What better definition then on inspired by God in the written scripture.
It says that is is two things hand and hand. First it is the substance of things hoped for. I found a definition of substance that included that substance is the essence, nature or heart of something. So to me that tells me that Faith is the essence and nature of the things that I hope for. Secondly it is the evidence of things that are not seen. Evidence is proof of it's existence.
In my observation I feel that Faith is being able to have confidence in that which is not seen are presented in the natural. Having Faith means trusting in God even when you can;t explain or see what he is capable of and has already done.

Now to me that is NOW FAITH
